NoviceGuard is a small, inexpensive printed circuit board which is intended to be helpful when novices are getting started with Arduinos.

At this wiki you will find a selection of things you could do with an Arduino in a NoviceGuard. There is a full discussion of NoviceGuard available on the web.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You don't need a NoviceGuard. You don't need to use the NovGrdCore library... but they will help your novices, and give your Arduino some protection from the mistakes novices make.

Least complex:

These challenges can be accomplished with nothing more than the basic NoviceGuard + Arduino. No daughter boards. No auxilliary power needed.

NoviceGuard basic Blinky

There's a reason people start their microprocessing with winking an LED.

NoviceGuard Does Blinky

NoviceGuard "advanced" Blinky

Once you have mastered Blinky, build on that.

A slightly fancier Blinky
