NoviceGuard is an inexpensive little printed circuit board which helps novices get started with Arduinos. (And also protects the Arduino.)
At this wiki you will find a selection of things you could do with an Arduino in a NoviceGuard. There is a full discussion of NoviceGuard available on the web.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't need a NoviceGuard. You don't need to use the NovGrdCore library... but they will help your novices, and guard against some of the Arduino-damaging mistakes novices make.
